I did see someone get excited in the Sync iCue with Asus motherboards thread on how their G skill RAM, Strix GPU are all synced with iCue so I'm hoping it is possible. I use ASUS Armoury instead of Aura Sync, I can change the RGB there but I think things start to conflict where the other RGB component stop responding in iCue.

If not, how do I control the RAM RGB so it sync up with everything outside of iCue? If I use Armoury, the selected rainbow wave pattern, for instance, stops cycling through the colours when iCue is on but all other areas are controllable.Īre there any intentions to allow G skill RAM Trident Z to be configurable in iCue? I have a feeling I'm not going to get the answer I want but is it possible for me to control G skill RGB Trident Z in iCue somehow? However, almost everything is controllable via iCue apart from my G skill RAM RGB Trident Z. This is FANTASTIC and would like to thank Corsair for adding it.

TL/DR - Enable RGB functionality & iCue functionality WITHOUT Armoury Crate and its associated lag, stutters, bloatware.I haven't used iCue for a while now, have had it turn off on start up but since the latest update it has now added my motherboard to the list of hardware to sync RGB.

Most of the time tho, it allows control over each individually addressable RGB in iCue. I take this is due to the newer card and old ASUS Aura Sync software. They all still light up but you can only control them as a group. Only issues ive had is every few startups iCue / Aura sync will fail to recognize my 4070 Ti Strix has individually controllable RGB's. I was NOT able to get Aura Sync to recognize my devices without installing Armoury Sync, getting my devices to show up, and then uninstalling Armoury Sync first. Along with retaining all the functions of the GPU you paid for. Im capped at 144fps but the improvement in 1% lows and the feel and look of the gameplay is massive.

The program still exists on ASUS website you just have to dig for it. If you recall, ASUS Aura Sync used to be a standalone program to control the RGB's. A big selling point for me was the iCue functionality of the Strix cards, but this also applies if you just want your RGB's working without the Armoury Crate stutter and lag.

Armoury Crate had been wreaking havoc on my PC, causing a lot of lag and stutters in games and just overall poor performance.
